Great local bakery serving amazing bread and pastries, plus scatch-made entrees for breakfast and lunch in a comfortable cozy space. I ordered the roasted chicken and pasilla chile hash and was thoroughly impressed. The chicken was tender and well seasoned, while the red potatoes and pasilla chiles provided the perfect accompaniment to every bite.

I have only had their game cranberry scones and their pumpernickel bread. They were both fabulous. I will go back when I'm in
Santa Barbara. They have a huge variety of beads. I want to try their walnut rye

They have Peerless Coffee-which IMO is reason enough to go.

(They dont call it PEERLESS for nothing)

Ordinarily I like to sit outside even if it's cool or semi inclement (I DO have limits but they're just a tad beyond the normal) but everything was inside on this day and it was HOT to me because-well-I mean-they DO bake BREAD in there!

But it's a nice little place to go for good, if typical, breakfast selections, a little ambiance, and very good coffee.
