Cheap Asian food that tastes super good? Sign me up!

This place gets so packed even right after it opens so make sure you show up at opening time.

Good:
- Fast service. You place an order at the front and get seated super quickly.
- The sampan porridge was so good. Just so tasty and the toppings were perfect and the little pork flakes and you tiao was perfectly textured.
- the beef brisket noodle rolls were so tasty too and a unique texture
- the curry fish balls were a great addition

Bad:
- Just so busy! Harder to flag the waiters down.
- Casual no frills ambiance

Overall loved this place and would come again. It’s so cheap for a dish and portion sizes are great.

Great Cantanese food. Recommend rice noodle roll, milk pudding abd beef brisket. The fish in the fish porridge is a bit tough, not very recommend. They ask you to pay when you order the food with 12％ tips withhold.

This place is really popular around lunchtime. We arrived ~11:30am on a
weekend morning, and there was already a line. But it was really quick and we didn't wait for too long.

Many people claim to have authentic Chinese food and the best one too, but in reality, many fail to meet the bar or even see where the bar is due to cost and time cutting measures. Well, look no further because this restaurant taste amazing. From their side dishes to their main dishes like porridge, you can taste the love in their cooking with every dish made from scratch and cooked to perfection.

The porridge is slow cooked with the flavor infused with each grain of rice and each bite you take. (Not every dish).

There are still some downsides with some dishes not having that infused flavors, but the meat was very tender.

Last but not least, they are quick and efficient making it a great place for a quick stop for a snack too! Their style is pay now, eat as long as you want and when you’re ready to leave, you can leave. No more having to wait for the waiter to serve and retrieve your receipt.

For price, as many things are on the rise, prices here are pretty average. They’re not WOW! BANG for buck, but they’re not frugal with their portions. The value is fair and is at an acceptable price.

A taste of greatness.

The congee is good, hot, good consistency, and tasty. The 艇仔粥 we ordered was pretty good. The 油條 was bot good though. It’s overfried, dried and not chewy. They seemed to have been outsourced and refried. Frankly, frozen 油條 from Canada sold in HMart and 99 Ranch are better. The 腸粉 was good although I’d prefer 銀記 better. Tables are too small and close together. Too cramped inside.

Went there around 12:15pm weekday. Not busy at all. About 15% full. As other reviewers indicated, food quality has dropped clearly. The congee is too thin and had not been slow-cooked long enough to thicken. You can clearly see granules of rice near bottom of congee bowl. The 腸粉 is mediocre now

Authentic Cantonese porridge and rice noodle place! No frills and NO MSG!!! Will definitely visit again.

Restaurant opened in mid-April. Not takeout currently, maybe due to labor shortage.

We went around noon on a Sunday. The wait line was out the door but moved pretty fast. While waiting in line, people can take the order sheet and decide what to order. The order was taken at the door entrance and assigned a table. One also paid at the time of ordering. 12% service fee is added to the total.

We liked this business model. It really helped with table turnaround time and to serve the maximum numbers of customers.

Food arrived fast. Servers also promptly took away empty plates and porridge pots.

Very tasty authentic Cantonese porridge! Rice noodle is delicious with fine and smooth texture, not thick and sticky.

Fast and efficient service! Authentic and yummy food! Definitely 5 stars overall.
