One of the best Chinese restaurants in Santa Barbara area. Roasted duck is a must!
The service here was really fast. What worries us was that our first dish was served less than 3 minutes, so I thought that the food might’ve been microwaved. Turns out that the food quality was great! I would definitely recommend this restaurant and there lion heads.
The dishes there are more sweet than Sichuan or Hunan restaurants but less spicy. It is what Shanghai dish like. Those dishes are good though.
This is a traditional Shanghai restaurant. We were visiting San Francisco and my friend who lives in the area took us here for dinner.
This place does get so busy with many customers waiting, I would suggest to book the table first if you have a large group, or go early to be ahead of crowds.
I really suggest everyone to try them out if you are in town.
The Shanghai dumplings are very good. The fish in the fish fillets with green vegetables are soft and hot. The beef in the beef noodle soup has good flavors albeit a bit salty, and the stewed beef is well done. The amount of food is very decent and the selection on the menu are huge. We will definitely come back and try other dishes.
