Garlic City Cafe

Loved loved this place. Small but cute & very homey feel but great food. Even meet the owner. Prices were fair. Dessert was great too. Will definitely come back

Greasy-spoon style diner, totally in the spirit of the garlic capital of the world. My party got vegetarian sandwiches and, of course (!) Garlic fries. Their food was great.
My sandwich was strange. It was a squid burger that was not at all what I expected. Nicely cooked, good bun, I think a pesto sauce, and a single slab of calimari. This was probably exactly what they described, so if you like this, it was great.
Service was good, parking was easy. It was a great way to celebrate Gilroy.

My first time eating here, they have really delicious food and I definitely will be returning. The service however was quite slow, we waited some time to be seated and even longer for our food. However, worth the wait.

When I first saw this place it seemed very small and more like a fast food type place but I was pleasantly surprised when the food arrived. The burger was huge and could of been shared. The fries were amazing! The calamari steak sandwich was delicious and so tender!! Fast & friendly service

Food was delicious. The waitress was not very knowledgeable about the food. Maybe she was new, however the cook that brought us our food was very nice. The garlic fries are very good but the portion is not very large so don't expect to share! Also the burger and chicken Alfredo are very good.
