I have been eating for over 30 years. Same owner and staff, Anna is back. A fair price for good food. Salsa is spicy like it should be. My favorite is Chile Verde. My daughters favorite is shredded beef with rice and beans.

Lomo Saltado was SO good...the rice was made well and the flavors worked really well together. I also liked the steak a la parilla..they made it protein style for me. BTW there is a Scoutmob discount where you get $5 off.

I really love this restaurant specially when there was a waitress named Anna Quintero it hasn’t been the same without her???????? she had a beautiful smile fabulous attitude she always had a glow on her face and being very happy to serve you even the smallest little thing that you would beat you to feel great just being there because of the service she would provide miss you Anna

Place is great for mexican food. Service is great and friendly. Quick to responde to your requests. Good sangrias!!

Important note: For the PRICE and for the AREA, it’s one of the best.

Of course you can find better in San Jose etc but it’s really, really good for the gilroy area. I often order the enchiladas. The chicken and beef and shredded not diced (which I hate). And the red and green sauces are really tasty.

The staff is always friendly. I think they’re a bit understaffed sometime. But that can be forgiven because they’re so nice. FYI. If your ordered out (which is what I always do) go ahead and walk up to the window towards the back of the restaurant.

I give it 5 stars because, as a local, I have been here over and over again. And it doesn’t disappoint.
