A casual find online, Asa delighted all of us. Hood selection of wine, exceptional food ' try the vegetarian Paella and the Roasted Chicken, to die for!

This is a more upscale place, but not so upscale that you can't wear nice jeans to dinner. It's one of the few places open a little later for dinner in this part of Los Altos. My partner and I shared a Paella Valencia to start, which was good although slightly on the oily side. They cook the rice separately so you get a lot of crispy rice edges. He also got the raw appetizer of the day which was hamachi, and he said the quality of the fish was superb (super fresh). For the main courses we had the Exotic Mushroom Pasta and the Scallop Risotto. Both were excellent. For dessert I had the special which was a Meyer Lemon pot de creme, and my partner had the bread pudding. Both delicious, and were not as sweet as some other restaurant desserts, which we appreciated (but something for you to keep in mind if you prefer very sweet desserts). Also this might not be an ideal place if you want a very leisurely drawn-out dinner; we noticed that several groups taking their time at their tables were politely reminded that other people were waiting for their table. We had come on a Friday night and it seems the restaurant gets very busy on Friday nights.

Have been here twice now, and really enjoyed the food. The duck is really, really good.
Had the lobster toast (good but not mind blowing), jamon iberico (delicious!), mushroom pasta (good!), paella (very tasty! but not your traditional paella), shrimp appetizer (good, delicious sauce, shrimp was normal shrimp), bowl of soul (very tasty! broth was delicious).

Pricey =p. but get the duck.

Let me start out by saying that this restaurant should be a Michelin’s Bib Gourmand list. From Front manager to Chef...this is truly how to run a great restaurant. I come from hotel and F&B background of almost 4 decades...it does not get better than this! Kudos to you all...and to the lucky owner...you are fortunate to have talent all around! Dinner was memorable and divine last night!

I very much enjoyed the entire experience. The front of the house does a great job welcoming customers and keeping a relatively small dining space flow comfortably. The menu has a great variety of options for all tastes and the food is fantastic. Our table shared the beef tenderloin, scallops and mushroom pasta entrees, and I have trouble picking my favorite of them. They are all great!
