This review is for brunch.
The space is nice enough, bright and well laid out. Our service was very very prompt which was surprising for the lazy Los Altos feel you get from the area.
The food on the other hand was pretty bland. I got the Benedict: the eggs had zero flavor, the Hollandaise was cold, and the English muffin was chalky. At least the vegetable weren't a soggy mess like some places. Honestly, just some salt and pepper would have gone a along way. For the ridiculous $17 price tag, I could buy a microwave and heat the food myself.
While the Benedict is a stable of any respectable brunch establishment, it's also a chance to really make your version standout which you do with either a really good classic style or some interesting variation. Bumble did neither.
Also we got charged $5 for burnt coffee, which was frankly just mean.
Best place to enjoy brunch with the kiddos. Theres an amazing contained play area where you can pay on-staff sitters to watch (and feed) the kids while you relax in the main dining area. Our 3yo loves this place for the Huge aquarium alone! Food is pricey but very good.
Great if you have young kids. Free babysitting and a playground area. Food expensive if you do not have kids. Quality of food is good. $10 for two eggs and a large chicken sausage is high. Seating is interesting, booths are pillows on window seat style. If you are over 5'7", not comfortable. Chairs are fine
First time here, and found it to be delightful. Organic ingredients, everything tasted fresh.
Rustic but comfortable environment, and friendly service.
I don't give many 5 star reviews, but this restaurant deserves it.
Good food but nothing too special (especially for the price). I ordered an avocado toast, and quite frankly it was not as good as the avocado toast I can make at home for half the price. Their cookies, however, are excellent- they're large, moist, chocolatey, and not too expensive. Loved their atmosphere as well, good for children (there's a sand box outside for them to play in).
