Tea on the Avenue

What a lovely little place. And a tea joint I could take my husband to. It's not like Lisa's ( which was popular for showers). It is a cafe with light sandwich and sweets menu but focused on tea. A substantial tea menu. It was very comforting on a very cold day. Had an egg salad sandwich and a cookie with hot matcha tea. Delish!!!

I can't believe I didn't know about this place sooner! I'm a huge tea fanatic.
I arrived early for my appointment at Bare Wax Lounge(highly recommend) which is right next door. I had about 25 minutes to kill and instead of waiting in my car I decided to wander around.

I fell in love the moment I walked in here. It's extremely calm and quiet - a perfect place to just relax or do some work you may have.

There are a ton of options for you to choose from. You can get your own pot or a cup to go. The snacks they have are amazing too. I had the Sea Salt Caramel Brownie and savored every bite of it!

The people working are extremely helpful, attentive, and give perfect recommendations.

I absolutely would return here again. I went on a Friday afternoon around 3pm and there were only a few other people in there so it wasn't crowded - unsure how it is on weekends!

Delicious! I am an iced tea person... we are a picky bunch. The black tea is perfection. I got the Smokey chicken salad sandwich ???? which was divine. The decor is as lovely as the staff.

Very well designed, clean and attractive place. Teas are fantastic. The sandwiches are delicious. They offer free hot water refills for your tea that comes with French press. Also have sambukas.

A great little place offering healthy food, best tea selection in town and a very pleasant atmosphere. Staff is incredibly nice and professional. Highly recommended!
