The best! ???? Harken back to a nostalgic time when food was cooked fresh and the proprietors were friendly and welcoming.
I had a number one and it didn't disappoint. Will definitely be back here.
Local family owned, good service and a menu for big appetites. Chili dogs, Double bacon, cheese burgers with everything including onion rings under your bun, tasy shakes, cheese covered french fries ... don't come here if you are on a diet. Consistently a good place for good old fashioned American fare. If you haven't visited a Fosters Freeze in a long time, or ever, and the idea intrigues you, this is the one you need to get to. The family and employees here care about the food they serve, they double check your order before preparing and when they hand it to you. Always asking if you need anything, napkins, ketchup etc... and they pack it up for to go orders with careful attention.
This Fosters Freeze has character! To the mural outside to the long awning outside, to the outside counter or the dining room, to those PT Cruisers pictures hanging out back, and the friendly cashier who happens to own the place!
Fosters Freezes menu is similar to something like Dairy Queen, really good Ice Cream and the like to Burgers and my favorite, fish sandwiches! The fish sandwich tasted fresh with cooked buns and a really well made fried fish fillet along with a special sause and lettuce and tomatoes that were fresh! Many Foster Freezes are locally owned so you can support locally!
This fosters freeze has character. The owner owns this location for over nine years and welcomes every customer with a big smile. You can tell he is really dedicated to what he does - cares about great customer service and food quality.
The burgers are old school and so the 1960s style walk up counters. They also have indoor seating and counters to order but you really want to park right outside and walk up to order. Things are clean and safe here. Usually it takes a bit for the food to come out but I take this as a good sign as they make the burgers fresh and with love.
It's also worth to try their soft serve. It's not too sweet and simply delicious.
Great place and great way to support a local business.
