Great Bentos, high quality meat!

This is a review of their togo bento. Ordered the gyutan beef tongue bento. I thought it would be all beef tongue but it’s actually half tongue and half thin sliced yakiniku beef.

The beef was flavorful and tender. Could do with a bit more beef for the price. At $20 it’s not the cheapest bento nor will it break the bank.

Bentos come with two small sides in the box, kimchi and a seasoned tofu, as well as miso soup and salad. The soup and salad seem like fillers, nothing special.

Ordering online was easy and the pickup timing was accurate.

First time trying this place with take out order. Ordered on Yelp- quick and easy. Good portion and tasted great. Bento comes with soup and salad. Ordered the Gyutan beef tongue bento (top) and US prime beef yakiniku bento. Both tasted great!

This is a Japanese grilled meat restaurant. You grill your own food right at the table. The meats are marinated in one of two marinades: slightly sweet marinade and salt based. The meats are also divided into Kobe style (for twice the price) and regular style.

We ordered 3 regular style meats: pork cheek, prime rib and kalbi. We also ordered an assorted vegetable plate. The vegetables were not really worth it. The meats, however, were really good. Tender with good flavor.

If you are in the area, I think it's worth a visit. It can get a little smoky, so be warned that your clothes will smell.
