Don Giovanni

It was better than, expected... The lamb was very good (I normally, can't eat it). The chicken breast was decent. I would've preferred more fresh veggies. Overall, I would visit again...

We had a private party for my dad's 95th birthday this afternoon and things went flawlessly. We had a group of 20 people and the food was delicious. The kitchen staff to the fabulous job of bringing that many entrees out in a timely fashion. This is my favorite restaurant and my wife put together the whole party. When she asked Dad where he wanted to have his birthday party he said Don Giovanni's. Trust me, you can't go wrong with this place

I had the artichoke chicken, it was excellent. The food was great, service very good. We were visiting family in the area so ate out 4 times along Castro and this was my favourite dinner.

Great service, great food. I had a chance to briefly meet the owner.... Super nice guy. They didn't even kick us out for hanging and talking as we chatted and finished our dessert after closing.

Decent food and poor service.

After researching many restaurants for a birthday celebration, I chose this restaurant due to the nice ambiance.

Crab cake was very breaded, tortellini Michelangelo was delicious, new York strip steak wasn't the best quality. All of our food came was hot which was awesome.

Water never got filled, server never came by it was time to clear the plate, check was taken in front of me so they can put their tips in?!

We asked if they do anything special for birthday, Host said "yes" and walked away, server said "yes" while walking away. After sitting there and nothing happened, we left wondering where the explanation was?

If you don't care about service and want decent food, come here. After $80 plus tip for 2 people and awkward service. I'm not so sure.
