This place is one of those Burger joints that is not a franchisee or at least not that I know of. They are not like a small hole in a wall but it is a dive-like spot that's been around for a while. They are a stand alone place with a private parking lot. I like it, it's cute and seems like a good place to hang out for a bit.

Our server was very helpful with recommending what to order if it's your first time visit. I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger: it was pretty simple, American cheese, bacon, and tomato. My friend had the south of the border burger. The service was great. Fast, friendly, and the food was amaaaazing! The burger was hot and juicy like it was just pulled of the grill. It was so juicy I didn't even use any type of sauce. We also ordered sweet potato fries, that was also good. A tip: get the half order because it was a huge serving!

So I didn't see any dessert on the menu, but maybe I missed it, but they did have great choices in milk shake. Oh By the way, they serve beer which goes perfectly with your burger after a long day!!!

My husband and I ordered one rib dinner, onion rings and Oreo shake. We had so much food we did not finish the toast that came with the dinner. Clean old fashion humble ambiance. Cozy and warm in the middle of winter. Sun-thurs offers discount on meals and special prices for happy hour. we are small eaters but their serving portions are substantial. Service is quick. Our dinner was tasty and satisfying.

Old reliable. A go-to spot since 1945 with lots of character in an otherwise sterile Silicon Valley neighborhood. Great burgers, fixings and toppings bar, and even “happy hour” specials. I wish I didn’t live 3,000 miles away.

Great burgers and sweet potato fries with all the trimmings! Nice selection of draft and bottle beers too! Indoor patio dining was nice, good courteous service. They've been in business for YEARS!

Great burger joint dating back to 1945. Large selection of breakfast and burger choices. Prices are very fair considering these are charcoal grilled and portions are generous. Can't go wrong at Clarke's.
