Nice vibe, good food, great service. Papas arrugadas were super flavorful, rabbit page was very good. Octopus was a slimy for my taste but also tasty. Will come back when out in the area.

2nd time here. Doesn’t disappoint. Almonds are a special treat as an appetizer. Ham is must have. Steak is exceptional.

Spanish cuisine located within the Shashi hotel.
Outdoor seating with poolside ambiance and indoor bar+lounge space.

The excellent food presentation and plating stood out along with great service. Best enjoyed tapas style in a group. . Food was good but on the pricey end, $50+pp sharing plates.

    Hotel Dining

There have been a smattering of modern luxury hotels opening on the Peninsula including the Ameswell, The Park James, Hotel Citrine, Nobu Hotel and now the Shashi Hotel

As business and leisure travel slowly ramps up, these hotels may be preparing for an increase in visitors locally but also have covered their bases with new bars and restaurant offerings for locals

We stopped by Broma, the newest restaurant at the Shashi Hotel. The chef formerly headed Michelin star Chez TJ and now has opened this Spanish Portuguese spot that offers both prix fixe and a la carte options

We stopped by for drinks and small bites and found an elevated ambiance with tasty entrees and refreshing drinks

We especially loved the dessert and the oysters were ultra fresh

📷 Market Oysters $24 ~ half dozen, mignonette, cocktail sauce / Alentejo Pork Cheeks and Clams $32 ~ tahini, tzatiki, herb oil / Pistachio Tartlet $14 ~ pistachio praline, ginger, cardamon

Lovely ambiance and staff! Chefs are trying some fun ideas - but the flavors didn't always land to my taste, and the food was often a bit salty (for me).

The plates are absolutely stunning to look at - and I loved the drinks!
