Jubba Somali Restaurant

Worth the wait. We waited some time for our food and we were hungry but I guess that means they make it fresh. We got the sports plate with chicken and beef and I was worried that it would be covered in sauce but it was actually not but still very flavorful. the salad had too much dressing though so I'm going to say have it on the side. They ran out of Injera so we got the chapatti instead- it was alright, the rice was food though. The sports plate was really big- probably could feed four instead of two.

african food... very satisfying. everyone at our table was enjoying everything. the service was very welcoming and sociable. this place has a nice atmosphere. feels similar to a restaurant in new york i liked.

Super tasty food. Pretty quick service. Great spiced tea for free.

Do not recommend for vegetarians. Only one vegetarian entree on the menu with very little protein.

Very reasonable price for the food portions. I always get their fish wrap. So delicious!!! They also serve free strong hot tea (which is not your usual watered- down tea. It has ginger flavor) Friendly, fast, efficient service. Oh, don't forget to ask if they have baklava for dessert!

Damned good food. A real treasure that I feel lucky is in our back yard. Just about everything on the menu is good, but I always come back for the goat. The wraps are a very good value. The spiced tea from at the back near the restroom is a nice touch, always sets a good tone and gets me in the mood for some fine food. The location is just plain funky, but I think it's part of the appeal.
