This is a place I always like to go when I'm in San Jose. As others have stated, the portions are massive. The last time I went, I think my wife and I were satisfied with only a 3 piece fish and chips. I'm happy with simple, well prepared fish and chips and a good value and this place definitely provides both. It helps that their tartar sauce is good (especially when mixed with malted vinegar). I can't speak for too much else on the menu as I always get the same. Also, I like the posters showing the different sea critters.

Best fish you can find in the area because there's not many fish and chip restaurants left anymore.
Ordered special of the day fish & prawns it was very good. And when we want this type of food 2 or 3 times a year this is where we will go.

This was really good fish and chips. I wish they had Cod, but I understand. If you are looking for a quick dinner, this is your cheap way to feed your crew, on the go! Nice small quaint place, I will visit again!
