We went to Le Papillon to celebrate our 11th anniversary as we did for our 1st anniversary. Le Papillon is an fine French restaurant that has also been a Michelin star rated in the past and delivers a wonderful culinary experience. The pre fix menu has many exciting options which my wife and I shared. I had the seared scallops which were terrific. The duck soup was simply divine! I enjoyed my beef tenderloin but it was not the best steak I've ever had. Nice sauce and I loved the bone marrow ravioli. For dessert we had the famous souffle but it was the passion fruit mousse that was out of this world! For a special dinner this is wonderful experience.
good service - rustic setting. This place has been around a long time. The inside decor has gotten shabbier in the last 7 years. However, don’t let the rustic charm fool you. This place has wonderful service and the food is never bad. So, if you need a nice little refreshing dinner date after a long week, you can’t go wrong with this little bay area historical gem.

If you're in Midtown East or near Grand Central, I would definitely come here for lunch. This place has an amazing array of options that are ALL amazing. My favorites are Good Stock and the wood-fired pizza spot. You can't go wrong with this food hall!
We ordered tasting menu with wine pairing. Tasting menu has 9 courses in total, even the menu is just listed 7 courses. All the courses are amazing and fantastic. Wine pairing is so great as well. We love Le Papillon, we will definitely be here next time.
