I think the service at this place is good. The food taste good, but I am not quite sure about the price. It is $15 for three small piece of dim sum. They are more zero vegetarian options on the menu, so if you’re here for the regular dishes as a vegetarian, you may want to think twice. They were able to accommodate my need by taking out the seafood from the stir-fried noodle. The taste is really good, however, I’m not quite sure if that worth $25. They can do vegetarian version of stirfried vegetables as well as the stir-fried asparagus. We tried the vegetables, they put a lot of oil but it taste good too. These are the only vegetarian options they have, and it is definitely not on the afternoon team menu. Asking for a lunch menu instead.
Decor is so pretty! Staff was super friendly and very considerate of my partner's allergies. Our server gave us amazing recommendations. Disagreed with other reviewers about small portion sizes. The sizes are pretty common for a fancy restaurant. We left the restaurant feeling stuffed and had enough leftovers to take home. Don't expect large family portions from more traditional Chinese restaurants.
Fancy Chinese restaurant in a mall. If you are looking for a traditional Chinese restaurant, this is not a place. This place is more like Hakkasan. The cocktails are great.
My 5 month old enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. I appreciate the booth type seat for my baby.
They asked you a dress code but for lunch people dressed very casual.
The decor is very nice. The hip hop music in background didn’t seem to harmonize with the dining environment though. The foods are very good. We had the set menu. We went there several days before Christmas on a weekday at 5pm, and parking was very frustrating. Had to go to park at Santana Row like many others did and walk back to the mall. The service staff was very courteous. It is a good dining experience but it is not quite Michelin star level though.
The most beautiful restaurant in San Jose. The food is very good, reasonable portions, not expensive from how it looks. Excellent service, the dish comes out with short introduction like dinning at Michelin star restaurant. I love how they decorate the foods and silverware been changed frequently. Very detailed from the chopsticks to the dessert bowls, worth to try! Highly recommend.
