L & L Hawaiian Barbecue

Food and staff is a 5, old school setting brings it to a 4. Great place. Go bbq platter all the way!

Gotta Love Hawaiian BBQ food. Really good stuff here. I think I had the combo plate with beef and chicken. It was really good. The time before I went for a late lunch. Probably a good idea to go earlier than later because if you go early then your food will probably be fresher. The cool thing is I'm going to Hawaii in 2 months so I will get the real deal Hawaiian BBQ in Hawaii.

I love this L&L the side sauces are sooooo good. I love that pasta salad I could eat that alone. My go to is the BBQ Chicken Regular plate with 2 scoops each of Mac Salad & White Rice. They're far from me so it's more like a treat when I get them.

I gotta admit that my first impression was not good. The place was small and stuff everywhere. I'm guessing it was not meant for a dine-in place but it has few tables by the windows. It was like one of those order, pick up and leave kinda place. The young asian dude in the cashier looks unfriendly, no smile, seems impatient when taking our order, but to be fair, it took us a minute to decide what to order. It was our first time. Go to the lady if you can--she seems friendly. The order arrived quick though and we decided to take it home. However, when we got home and tested the three-meat combo order with macaroni (I was hoping the macaroni has crushed pineapple with it), it was surprisingly good, tasty and the portions were plenty enough to feed three adults (we don't eat much). I don't know if one person can eat the 3 meat combo deal in one seating, you have to be really hungry I guess or...

The smell got me walked into the restaurant. And the food is totally awesome. For me, the price is a little high. I ordered the small plate for lunch special costed me almost 10 dollars. That's why I will not go that often then. But the food is yummy.
