I loved this place. Order the 3lbs of seafood: Shrimp, clams, mussels, corn, sausage in yummy sauce! Not to disappoint.

One of the most under rated Cajun seafood joints in Santa Clara , San Jose region. They have an insanely tasty poboy sandwich, I recommend trying the seafood boil in every flavour available here. They have dungeness crab as staple but on few special occasions they serve king crab too. Worth a visit if you are food hopping in Bay area.

Soft shell crab classic sandwich was good. People seemed to enjoy the beer tower. Surprised they don't have gumbo, but they have fresh seafood.

This is a pretty solid place if you live/are in the area and don't feel like trekking across town to be on a huge waitlist for some cajun seafood. I always get the 3lb special, sometimes ordering some sides along with it.
Service here is great, the staff here is always extremely friendly. Food comes out quickly. It's always fresh and hot. Flavor is on point with the right amount of spice. Kicking crab is still my favorite, but Poorboy's can definitely satisfy that craving.

Great all over: the food quality, the service, the ambience, the menu options. Much better than Boiling Crab, in all aspects. Will be a favorite spot for me, but I need to find a solution for the garlic breath because the food in Poorboy is drowning in it.
