Nice place to get all groceries and even has Chaat counter to grab some snack while shopping. You will find variety of Indian stuff here.
This review is for their "Chinese" food from the hot case in the deli. It is completely inedible. It's sickeningly sweet and greasy. When first served, you could use it as one would napalm. It sticks and burns.
Prices are high when compare to other Indian grocery stores. However vegetables are fresh here as well as you can buy Indian Food which is easily accessible and available in the store. You can get a free tea though.
This place is getting more amazing. Apparently this store is now open till 11:30 PM in the night. Quite a different thinking and service. We were pleasantly surprised.
There is also Radhe Chaat inside, so, if the groceries are taking longer time, one can buy food there itself and either eat there or take home.
The vegetables are generally fresh and available in plenty.
The things for improvement.
1. The price is slightly higher, but not noticeable or going to cause any dents on budget.
2. The dairy product expiration dates are not the best among the Indian stores, so one might have to be a bit careful. Of course, it has to do with the inventory turn-over. But I suppose, as this store gets more popular, this might get better.
Overall, I would definitely visit again, and will continue to visit. I would definitely recommend as well.
Trinethra Supermarket is one of the best Indian grocery stores in Santa Clara. It's very clean, organized, and carries a large variety of vegetables. They have an extensive frozen foods section, and a full complement of spices, flours, and unique grains.
