Corazon Mexican Food

My wife and I got take out here and the food was absolutely delicious! I had the chicken mole which was fantastic, but even the refried beans had much more flavor than any I have had before. Service was courteous and quick. Took 10 mins (about my drive time) and was waiting for me when I arrived. I'll be going back often just to try to work my way through their amazing menu.

This just opened so we decided to try it. The food is great and I mean great. They have dishes here that are really unique that I have not found in conventional Mexican restaurants.

The name "Corazon" (heart in Spanish) is significant, because you'll find an atypical menu of attractively prepared Mexican dishes that are heart-healthy, with less fat and cheese. Plus the folks running Corazon are genuinely warm hearted, friendly and helpful, so don't be bashful about asking them to explain their unique selections, which I've never before encountered. The only reason for four stars instead of five is that the decor is a bit austere, so maybe not the place for that special date. Ordering is taqueria fast-food style at a counter, with payment up front (credit cards accepted). So there's no waiter to take your order, but they will bring your order to you table. The order counter does make it fast and easy for take-out.

Burritos are super tasty, great composition of ingredients and toasted a bit on the outside. Staff are super friendly. Plus, dog friendly!

More upscale than a regular taqueria but not a "fancy" restaurant either, it's a place you can sit at comfortably in a relaxed setting. Corazon has all the burrito staples covered while also providing a bigger more option filled menu than your regular fast food place. The staff is super attentive, paying attention to details in your order and also quite friendly.
