Shalimar

Tried this spot once with my friend and I am addicted ever since. I loved the excellent atmosphere and yummy dishes and drinks. I recommend this place.

The food is okay, kabobs not thoroughly cooked and the ingredients were coming apart. Brain masala here was passable. The place is not clean, though. There was a separator next to our table and it had so many stains, eating next to it was difficult. The front desk staff was mostly busy with her personal matters, people were waiting for her to attend them. Needs improvement in food, management and cleanliness.

I’ve been eating at this restaurant for more than six years, and one thing has stayed constant throughout all of that time—the food is delicious. Yes, it is spicy; yes, the food isn’t for everyone. However, if you are looking for tasty unique well-cooked food, look no farther. While the interior is a bit run-down, the quality of the food more than makes up for the atmosphere. Note: Most, if not all, of the food is definitely very spicy, so be warned.

I was super grateful they were open for a late dinner. The staff was friendly, the food was quickly prepared and tasty. It was a bit too spicy for my admittedly quite mild palate but I think typical of that cuisine. As it was my first time there, it didn't occur to me to ask for mild.
