true rating is a 3.75—hole in the wall noodle spot run by a nice old man! quick service, and noodles have great texture. i will say the sauced noodles are all miles above the soup noodles in terms of flavor (and in fact, i wouldnt really recommend any soup noodle over any of the sauced noodles), but i am still a fan of the hand-pulled noodles that come with the soup noodle dishes! would definitely recommend the sichuan dan dan noodles—great flavor, perfect level of ma la spice. each dish comes with a LOT of noodles too—so rest assured you will be full by the end of your meal. their green beans are pretty solid as well as some of their cold appetizers. at the end of our meal, the owner came over with some home-grown mandarin oranges for us for free, which was a sweet touch from him :-). overall, i would come again but only for specific dishes!

A lovely little mom and pop restaurant that gives you all the feelings of home. The owner is a sweet, muscular old man (who used to be a gymnast for the National team)!

We ordered two dishes, one more on the recommendation of the owner and loved all three.

Dishes were flavorful, noodle textures were al dente. Tastes like home, not because I’m from this region of food, but it has that homemade family cooked Chinese food flavor.

The smile on the service was an extra bonus.

Would highly recommend, definitely will be visiting next time we’re in town!

Great service! I would definitely recommend their Dan Dan noodles it’s very different from other I had, apparently this is the most authentic Sichuan Dan Dan noodle according to the owner.

A quiet hole in the wall kind of place where you can get great noodles. The boss is super friendly and recommended that I get the eggplant and minced pork noodle over the original beef noodle soup I wanted. It was a great recommendation though since it was delicious!

A great place to try if you’re looking for some cozy home style food

This is a mom and pop Chinese restaurant that survived after the pandemic so kudos to them! The wife works in the front while the husband works in the kitchen. The cuisine is from the northern part of China, so there are a lot options for noodle. It's located in an old strip mall, so nothing is fancy here, but you get an authentic taste of homemade dishes. The service could be a bit slow at times, but it's understandable since there's no extra staff around, but the food itself makes up for it.
