“Update 1/7/19: After the renovation, this place now offers dumplings and other dishes along with the hotpot and grill. Tried the XLB today and it's pretty yummy! The skin is thin but thick enough that I didn't break any, even the last one when it's slightly cooled down and stickier :) The top of the dumplings where they're crimped is a little doughy, but overall the filling is tasty and juicy. Also ordered stir fried pea sprouts, the chef was not stingy with garlic. Pretty tasty dish as well. ----- Weekday lunch special: $15.99 for all-you-can-eat bbq plus a soda, great deal! I was stuffed after trying the first 4 beef dishes. Docked a star because the grill got pretty charcoal-y after a round, and they don't give you any oil to re-grease it.”

“We moved to North Carolina about two years ago and to this day, my family mourns leaving Gobi behind. My son tasted his very first ice cream here, and he *enjoyed* his first vegetables here. He grew up on weekly visits to this amazing place where the staff treat you like family when you’re a regular (which I highly recommend becoming), and you can have delicious food -exactly as you’d like it- prepared right before your eyes! “Everything was good about this place but nothing over the top spectacular. Parking was easy in a small private garage. Some street spots too, if you prefer that. Short walk on a clean, "safe" walkway. This place is a cook it yourself in a pot. Nice thing about this place is that everybody gets their own pots. And the broth used to cook the food is 1 of 6 flavors that you choose when you order. Every order comes with preselected veggies. You add your pick of 4 different styles of noodle, I chose cellophane; and about 5 different varieties of protein, I chose lamb. Food was fresh and given to us already cleaned. There was a condiment bar with about 8-10 different sauces, plus cilantro and green onion. One just mixes and matches as they like in their pot to create their own dinners. Fruit juices, tea, sake and beer were available. This is a great place to gather and talk while you cook your own meal.”

“While I've never actually had a burger here, that in itself is sort of a testament to their other offerings. I've almost always had one of the French fry dishes and they've all been tasty. They do have some outdoor seating which I appreciate as I live close enough to walk and I like being able to sit somewhere with my dog! The service was great this last time we were there. It was pretty busy for a Friday night but we got our food in a timely manner and all the staff was very helpful and friendly!”

This store also sells Taco Bell food. I order the chicken burrito with no beans and no rice, add extra chicken and a double helping of lettuce. I am not a frequent visitor to KFC, but I do come back a couple times a year to get a quick meal.”
