Hand pies, dessert pies, and pizza had good flavor. Cheese pizza just tasted like Costco cheese. Hand pie was served lukewarm, like it had sat on the counter for a while. Staff were having fun chatting with each other, but stuff in the seating area (water, silverware) went empty.
Very hit or miss in terms of quality and getting what you order. Went once to try the clam pizza as a novelty and it was excellent. The next time, we tried the sausage pizza which had very few leeks and no fennel fronds. My parents happened to also try the sausage pizza that day and they said their pizza had plenty of leeks and a good amount of fennel fronds. The dessert pie was fine but didn't stand out in any way. We will try them one more time, but I can't recommend them at this point.
This is a small place right across the parking lot from Rio Del Mar beach. The pizzas are all 12 inches and ended up ordering a pepperoni pizza and a chorizo and potato hand pie. The pizza was made to order in their brick oven. I took the order to go and didn't realize until I got home that they gave me the spinach hand pie instead- easy mistake I guess. The crust was really good but the filling wasn't what I wanted. The pizza itself was ok. I'd probably come back to try some of their other offerings, but there are better pizzas in town.
Great place by the beach for coffee and multiple types of pies. They had pizza pie, hand pies, and dessert pies. We stopped and had the earl grey pie which was a ear grey milk tea custard in a flaky pie crust. It was awesome though the bottom crust was a tad soggy. The coconut cream pie had a great coconut cream to whipped cream ratio and was a graham cracker crust. There were also flakes of coconut mixed into the cream. We’d come back for pie alone but looks like they also have a soft serve machine
