Old Mountain Inn

I really wanted to like this place as it's close to my house and would be super convenient, unfortunately that was not the case. my coffee was barely lukewarm and was clearly the bottom of the pot because it was really bitter and not very good, I forced my way through the first cup of coffee in the hopes that the second cup would be from a fresh pot but I actually got the very last bottom of the pot in that second half cup that was even worse I didn't drink. My "over medium" eggs we're pretty much completely cooked through my hash browns were undercooked and not crispy at all and it seemed like someone forgot to put any salt in my entire breakfast whatsoever. I'm giving three stars because the woman who served us was very friendly and honestly I feel bad giving this review but I really felt I had to in order for this place to hopefully improve. it's a great location and I feel like really good breakfast isn't that hard to do at least pretty well and I hope they make some changes to make that happen.

This place is just to have a quick bite and go. Simple food. Don’t expect a great service here. I don’t complain about it. But they are friendly yet you can sit and relax enjoy your lunch after hiking at Big Basin. Parking on curbside.
