“This is our new favorite spot! Delicious food and baked items are to die for! Owners are very nice and such a delightful neighborhood cafe. Everything we have had so far has been delicious, but I would highly recommend the Reuben sandwich, breakfast bagel with sausage or bacon, breakfast burrito, any/all of the pastries and their coffee is amazing too!”

“I'm moving to the area very soon and looking for a new regular place to eat, The Sawmill was there -- I LOVED IT! The drinks on tap was amazing, staff was incredibly friendly and eager to please. The food was divine -- I hope the cheese curds never leave their menu. Update: Been a regular here for almost three months, the owners and staff are always eager to please and are just the nicest folk you could ever meet!”

“The veggie burgers and chocolate ice cream cones we're really good. It is so hard to find Fosters Freeze these days so we were so excited when we saw it! They were great about customizing our veggie burger order too. Food was served fast. They gave us the ice cream first so we were definitely occupied while we waited.”

“I really wanted to like this place as it's close to my house and would be super convenient, unfortunately that was not the case. my coffee was barely lukewarm and was clearly the bottom of the pot because it was really bitter and not very good, I forced my way through the first cup of coffee in the hopes that the second cup would be from a fresh pot but I actually got the very last bottom of the pot in that second half cup that was even worse I didn't drink. My "over medium" eggs we're pretty much completely cooked through my hash browns were undercooked and not crispy at all and it seemed like someone forgot to put any salt in my entire breakfast whatsoever. I'm giving three stars because the woman who served us was very friendly and honestly I feel bad giving this review but I really felt I had to in order for this place to hopefully improve. it's a great location and I feel like really good breakfast isn't that hard to do at least pretty well and I hope they make some changes to make that happen.”

“A very sweet waitress and fantastic view of the creek saved this place from a negative experience. The food was good but needed more flavor. Unfortunately, our shrimp Tempura and consequently, probably our Dragon Roll, had shrimp that were not cleaned at all. As in... we ate poop before realizing it. Yuck! When the bill came, we were told they were sorry for our experience, but offered no reconciliation. We were surprised, but said nothing and paid the bill in full. A minute later, the waitress came back, saying she felt bad about the situation and offered to void the original check and provide 10% off a new one, which we gratefully accepted. Though a small gesture, kudos to her for recognizing that we shouldn't pay full price for something we couldn't eat.”

“For the price: the food is average, but at least the service is good. I imagine their monopoly as the only eatery for the golf course has played a part. I ordered my burger medium and it came well done, but I was told by the individual who brought me to this location that it is fairly common. If you need food in a pinch, this will do.”
