Roux Dat

Amazing food, great service, unique atmosphere. I've tried most everything on the menu; you really can't go wrong with anything. My favorites are the jambalaya and the fried shrimp po boy.

Really great food. Staff is really nice. I'd definitely go again. Shrimp PO'boy is yummy.

I grew up in Houston, which means is spent a lot of weekends in New Orleans over the years, and have eaten a lot of great Cajun food.

Roux Dat is markedly better than a lot of places I have eaten at in NOLA itself. I can't believe this place doesn't have a line out the door every night. I would eat here every single ghad damn night if I could.

Stop looking at reviews for other restaurants trying to figure out where you're gonna eat, and start driving here.

We stopped in for a quick bite and I was thoroughly impressed with the menu. They offered simple meat choices, but also had alligator and some really unique pairing options. The sauce on every table is abosulerly amazing! I bought a bottle to go and use it more than butter:) if you are looking for a quick filling meal that may contain meat you have never had the opportunity to enjoy, stop in and try it out. I guarantee there is something here for everyone that can handle a little spice in their food!

Very tasty food. Hard to find good Cajun on the west coast. Go there on a sunny day so you can sit outside - there's not a lot of seating indoors.
