Fast Eddy's Billiards

Address: 4300 Capitola Rd, Capitola, CA 95010, USA

Restaurant

“Best pool hall on the coast south of San Francisco and North of LA. If you are cruising HWY 1 through the Santa Cruz area, it is a must stop. It's at 4300 Capitola Rd. They have many tables, both classic Brunswick, and Diamond. We played on a well maintained Diamond: 4.5" pockets, consistent rails/bumpers, clean cloth, and well lit. They have full bar and grill, with classic good food. The staff are friendly. The owner, Todd , is often onsite and super friendly. Also, if you're looking for lessons, Kenny (Ken) Crenshaw is available on a consistent basis. The have both leagues and tournaments. The feel is a classic pool hall, but without smoke. They have WiFi, large screen satellite fed video screens, internet jukebox, pinball machines, shuffleboard, and more. There are two floors with open space above so most first floor tables can be viewed from above. A diverse set of people and players frequent Fast Eddy's. The weekends are always lively. Tuesday nights are Ladies Night, and table time prices are very affordable. And if pool is not the only thing you do, they have dart leagues as well. It is family friendly, and young people are often present. There are not enough good things I can say about this place.”

The staff all care about delivering culinary perfection in every sandwich. We ordered a bowl of clam chowder and it was packed with clams and well-seasoned. “I love this intimate space. Enjoyed live music on a Saturday, good wine and delicious food. The 'adult mac and cheese' is a must have. As a lover of the cheesy goodness, I was pleasantly surprised that it was so fantastic! Let's face it, not every establishment makes mac & cheese worthy to be called good. It had the 5 right amount of 'kick' to it as well. The pesto flatbread was outstanding. Servers were attentive”

“We finally have a Joe's on the East Side! Sure, it's called Robbie's Sandwiches, but it's the same awesome sandwiches, burgers, fries, etc. we all know and love. I guess one of the members of Joe's family decided to strike out on his own, and I'm stoked he chose Capitola! Super basic interior, and I'm not sure whether they are eventually planning to serve beer there, but it's awesome to have another good sandwich place in town. Very affordable too!”

East End Gastropub

Address: 1501 41st Ave i, Capitola, CA 95010, USA

Restaurant

“Such a fun place. They've made the best of the space they have, part of the restaurant is upstairs. That's probably the only downside, if you don't like stairs or like for us another customer comes in doused in cologne, since there's such few tables upstairs, you will be smelling it. Vs downstairs the tables are really close together but because of the high ceilings it wouldn't have been so bad. Also for everyone reading this, please don't douse yourself in cologne or perfume but especially if you're going out to eat. People don't want to smell that and eat. So we had to leave early because it was so bad and that was unfortunate because the food was amazing and the service was so kind and intuitive. We had their burger that was a special during burger week and it was unbelievable. The fries were super delicious too. Someone a couple tables over ordered a pizza during the happy hour time. I believe it was $10 so when I saw this giant pizza they brought them I was floored! Definitely a great deal. Dinner entrees are fairly priced for the environment they are bringing and would be fun to try. Check them out if you haven't!”
