This place is great if you eat meat. They're pretty decent fries too.
Super yummy Burger! One of the best I've had in a long time. This was the first time I've been to Jack's, as usually they're closed by the time we head out to the Nickelodeon, right around the corner. We happened to catch them less than 10 minutes before closing and they delivered 2 delicious cheeseburgers and an order of fries very quickly and didn't seem to be bothered that we showed up moments before closing. We definitely will come back and try more items on the menu.
Love Jack's! There's nothing better than eating a Jack's cheeseburger on the patio on a sunny day in downtown Santa Cruz. The burgers have a good flavor, and the beef doesn't have an overwhelming flavor or seasoning. They use fresh ingredients, specifically their iceberg lettuce is not wilted. I usually add bacon. I also like their milkshakes, nothing special, and their fries that are not cut too thin. Dogs okay outside
I'm always impressed with Jack's. Good service and consistently good food. Recommended!
AWESOME classic hamburgers the likes of which are rare these days. Every time I have one of their hamburgers I feel like I stepped back in time to the 60's. The fries are fantastic and they serve plenty of them in the "burger and fries basket". Early birds can save as baskets are buy one get the second at half price. If hamburgers are not your thing the Salmon Burgers are always a good choice. Hot dogs are served up in great numbers, though I've never strayed from the Mushroom Burger with Guacamole I can tell by the customers who have them the hot dogs are top notch. Parking is at a bit of a premium, park on the street and walk in. I guarantee you it will be worth the walk.
