I really like the food and service here. They're pretty friendly towards people with dietary needs. I'm living that gluten free or I'll be sick for days life. Additionally, the hazelnut hot chocolate (the name escapes me) is phenomenal and the Gluten free bread is smacking.
Super kitchy and unique. They have a different sausage each day, which I expected to be dry and firm. Instead it was soft and amazing. The salmon with ginger was also incredibly tender. Definitely worth trying!
Lovely ambiance if you want to actually talk with the people you're with. The menu is interesting. I found the vegetarian antipasto outstanding. As expected, the desserts are chocolate and very good.
The bread had been sliced at the beginning of the dinner shift and so had a stale edge to it by 10pm when we came in.
The staff was clearly anxious to close up and leave. They didn't rush us exactly ... but were glad when we left.
Small and atmospheric with both indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent food and desserts, with the best hot chocolate around.
Great place to bring a date, or close friends for an intimate gathering. Expensive, but you get what you pay for.
Great selection of authentic hot chocolates and chocolaty desserts in the heart of the Santa Cruz downtown.
The hot chocolates are tasty, but not the "thick" European style. The restaurant itself has a cool, eccentric vibe, but it's got limited indoor seating which is also quite crowded.
I'd recommend getting it to go and strolling down the main street.
