Mare Island Brewing Co. (Ferry Taproom)

A nice place for brews, but the food is mediocre in both selection and taste. They do only beer and wine, so it's a taproom, not a bar. Otherwise it's decently priced and the staff are friendly and engaging. They have a dart board as well as multiple televisions for watching sports and what have you. They also are right on the waterfront, so they have some of the best views in Vallejo. You can watch the water, the sunset, and occasional boats go by.

Location is what this place definitely has. The beers are very good too, albeit a bit pricey. Must be the rent. The food menu is bone basics fare. Ah, but the location. What a beautiful place to really relax.

I absolutely love this place . You have some of the best beers from NorCal brewed right here in the bay. The food is delicious. And the views of the water way and the boats. You can see mareisland across the water way. This location is great it's inside the ferry terminal. So you can purchase your ferry ticket. Walk a second aways to be inside the brewery.

Love the atmosphere it's a great place to go and sit by the water and get lost in watching the waves or going with a group and sitting at the big large picnic tables or sofas and enjoying company.
The beer selections are good. Food selection is less then mediocre and they are often sold out. The bbq wings taste like ketchup poured over top.
The servers seem friendly but stressed. I have the seen manager go through mood swings making customers feel uncomfortable speaking in a rude monotone condescending manner.
Often not smiling and just behaving as if it was a burden to be at work.
