“I usually love going to this location, but I'm guessing they had an immense decrease in staff, because it was incredibly slow. I was in line for about 10 minutes before actually getting to the counter to start my order. Not to mention all the online orders that kept coming through while the line continued to grow. People were getting agitated. I waited patiently, because I love the food, and it was well worth the wait!”

“I ordered the Caribbean Rock Lobster tail and a 6oz. Fillet. Presentation was good but the lobster was over cooked and I clearly didn’t receive a 6oz. Fillet. I’m not knocking Red Lobster, just the meal that I received. I’ve had the same basic meal in Trinidad, Saint Lucia, Jamaica, Vancouver, Calgary and NY. this year alone so yes.......... it was over cooked and a strip steak is nothing like a Fillet. Food establishments need to be more careful with putting out product that is not correct. There are a lot of people out here that practically live on the road, eating out every day and night. We know what food tastes like, we know what food looks like. If you are out of a certain product, say so don’t send it out and call it something else. BatesX3”

“Been twice. Once before the remodel for 6 course. Once after the remodel for the new(ish) Thursday night 12 course. If you want to stuff your face, visit a steakhouse. If you are picky, stay home. But if you have an open mind and can appreciate someone who has honed their craft, then this restaurant is well worth your time and money, no matter the commute. Michael and Ali are consummate professionals with not just talent but are clearly putting in the work it takes to produce a 5* product in both food and service. They are knowledgeable, efficient, and welcoming. The food is exciting, balanced, and ever-changing. “I came to Los Molcajetes for the first time today and I was very satisfied with my meal. However I was not satisfied with the customer service. The servers weren’t rude at all they were actually quite nice but it’s just that they paid almost no attention to us as if we weren’t there. They tried to have as little interaction with us as possible. No one came to seat us we just sat ourselves and when we sat down it took them a while to give us our menus. The waitress came back and took our order, about 15 minutes later our food came out. I ordered the Chile Relleno and Enchilada plate. It was very tasty and there was a lot of food on my plate so I was happy. But they never brought us our drinks we ordered and never gave us any napkins. When we were finished with our food we waited for the check to come but after 30 minutes of waiting we realized it wasn’t coming so we went to the front desk to ask for our check. Everything about my experience was good except for the service. I will come back for the food but that’s all. If they worked on the service it would be a much more enjoyable establishment that I would come to regularly.”
