The starters and main courses tasted great overall and presentation was neat and clean. Restaurant itself was also neat and tidy throughout. Wines by the glass is a limited local selection. Service a bit slow and unengaged. Overall I just had a lingering feeling that this restaurant was probably really good 6 years ago (when it had a Michelin star) but that the owners have maybe lost the love for the business a little bit.
Cozy setting. Great attentive service. The foods were very wonderful. Comparable to Michelin-starred restaurants in the City.
Once again a wonderful meal well served. Michelins downgrade is hard to understand though it may be related to the fact that only 5 entrees are offered but each turns out fantastic and shows individual chef attention. Two of us had the seabass and I had the duck (perfect again) Andrew runs a perfect kitchen and makes one feel perfectly home
Terrapin Creek is food heaven. This is a small sized restaurant that has exquisite food, nothing tastes bad from their menu. It is fine dining at it's best. All meats, vegetables and fish are purchased locally. Their desert is superbly made and every bite is sensational. It is cozy and eloquent. A place for the wife, girlfriend or family ( get a sitter for small children ) savor the experience.
It is expensive. A meal for two with appetizer, main course, alcohol drink, dessert, tea or coffee will run over $100 not including tip. It is worth every penny. Reservations are required and self parking is free. Final note; look at my pictures.
Great service, rotating menu and a nice selection of wines. I came here with my wife for a special occasion. We started with a dozen oysters and worked our way down the menu. I highly recommend you save room for dessert.
