“Everything we’ve eaten here has been outstanding. The smoked hummus is a must get! So far we’ve tried three of the pizzas and all have been over the top delicious . Our favorite by far is the Bodega. The staff is excellent and the owners are extremely gracious. We are Bodega Bay locals and we have been waiting for a place just like this. The remodeled space has a great vibe and a fun energy. The only downside is trying to convince my wife that we can’t eat here every day.”

“The starters and main courses tasted great overall and presentation was neat and clean. Restaurant itself was also neat and tidy throughout. Wines by the glass is a limited local selection. Service a bit slow and unengaged. Overall I just had a lingering feeling that this restaurant was probably really good 6 years ago (when it had a Michelin star) but that the owners have maybe lost the love for the business a little bit.”

“The idea of BBQ oysters made me turn around and discover this delightful place. There is a small building that you order in. There is a scrumptiously clean restroom if you have the need and decent, free parking. Take your tray up a short flight of steps to a simple patio for an instant picnic in the California weather. The oysters were so fresh they needed to be slapped. The fries were hot from the fryer. It was a lovely lunch. They have a solid offering of seafood and salad. Don't pass this place.”

The raw oysters are good, but a little mignonette would've been nice—they're served on ice, with a slice of lemon and nothing else, though hot sauce and cocktail sauce are available. The fish and chips were a bit of a letdown—the fish was fresh, but a bit over-breaded (past crispy and well into crunchy, almost hard) and just a bit over-cooked. The fries were nothing special. Still…that chowder…I might go back just for the chowder.”

The French fries were fresh and delicious but I would be hard pressed to eat as many as possible as they give a hearty portion with the meal anyways.
