Rubio's Coastal Grill

It's my go to place for fish tacos; unfortunately, they just can't get there service together. Takes foreeeeever to get your order and place priority on to go orders. My last visit took well over 15 minutes to get my order. This wouldn't be so bad if they gave you some chips to eat while waiting but even when you order them, they insist on bringing them with your order. In short, good food slow service.

They still have a problem getting orders right

We have been going to this location since they opened and there was a rough patch a while back when the staffing was erratic and the fried fish was weird and meager. That seems to be all straightened out with the new manager, Ron, and we are really happy to visit weekly now. Portions are much more consistent and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They still run out of popular items (like their wonderful chipotle salsa) a bit too often and their beans don't always have that signature pepper flavor but we are always excited to go! I'm sure the improvements will keep coming...
