Urban Deli

Tasty food, and the owner was a sweetheart. So the one star review was annoyed about the wait, and let me tell you, the wait is worth it (and also not *that* long, ffs). It's one guy making a sandwich/wrap with love! I'm sure once he's more established he'll have a crew to streamline stuff, but in the meantime let's not pettily shame a new business doing its best that churns out an awesome product because it's not fast food. That's just mean and nonsensical.

Anyway, the falafel wrap is great! It's very dense, delicious and filling. I went at it hungry and only got a quarter of the way through before I had to take a break, lol. You get a lot of bang for your buck here. The deli is tastefully decorated, and the air conditioning makes it a lovely spot to get away from the heat. The owner also makes nice small talk. He asked about my heritage and let me tell him a little bit about where my family is from. I can't wait to go back!

Also... if you're like me and love beet hummus but can't find it anywhere - this guy makes it and it's great :)

Just had the chicken shawarma wrap for lunch. It was plenty to share with my husband and came with a side salad. Both were super yummy. Also, the gentleman working was super nice. I will definitely be back.

New Business Alert!!! Urban Deli surpassed my expectations! Very elegant feel in the atmosphere, the owner was actually kind enough to provide free samples! Food was delicious, definitely going back!

I was lucky enough to try Urban Deli today on their grand opening day (May 26th)!! I had an excellent experience. All of the staff was very friendly, the QR code menu was very useful, and the food was wonderful. Thank you very much Sam and the Urban Deli team. Excited to make this restaurant part of my weekly spots to visit!
