HopMonk Tavern Sebastopol

Great place. But when I wanted to buy chips, they wouldn't sell it. They only sell it during happy hour. They should sell chips in the evening as well!!!!!! I really didn't like it. Sonia

I was really surprised how great this place is. Great food and a full range of beers and drinks. Flavorful and fantastic variety!

This place is a shining star among Sebastopol establishments. The food is a big step above the typical pub fare. As others have noted, the various seating areas really make it different. Sitting by the fire pit in the beer tent with a brew is really nice and makes waiting for table a nice experience. I am not a beer freak, but those I have tasted have been great, nice and crisp and fresh. Staff is top notch if not a little too efficient. This is probably the best and most interesting brew pub I have ever been in and we are fortunate to have this here in Sebastopol.

What an amazing place! The atmosphere is one of the most comfortable and laid-back I've seen in a long time. With it's varied seating availabilities, courtyard, fire pit, lounge, balcony, and succulent garden area, it is a breath of fresh air from your typical restaurant/tavern experience. An amazing menu awaIts you. With it's music venue and area for private parties, it is a versatile location for your next outing into Sebastopol.

Among the myriad of pubs, breweries, and taverns dotting the northern California coast, HopMonk is one of the best. You would be remiss to pass this place up. From their beer selection to their food it really is no wonder they're such a staple for local foodies. Get the HopMonk burger with their very own hefeweisen. Truly a treat. Will definitely be a go to spot whenever I'm in the area.
