The Standard Pub

Went for dinner and there was a huge party, but the bartenders were still attentive. We also ordered the special (steak with veggies), and it was cooked perfectly with delicious flavor.

Cool atmosphere for drinks and to eat. Our server was really slow and it was not busy at all when we went in. Food was pretty good but way over priced. Just the two of us was almost 110 bucks and we had a couple of drinks, a chicken sandwich, salad and an appetizer.

I would say if you are going to charge so much then at least have way better service. They are charging luxury prices for a pub sports bar.

Food and service was good my garlic fries were little to garlic for me..
I wish the music wasn’t that loud you can even have a normal conversation without yelling.

Awesome spot here in Modesto, We have been to this place several times now and love it here. The Menu ( though not large) has some really great pub food which is delicious, the braised pork osso bucco is amazing, literally fall off the bone tender and tasty and the prime Harris ranch ribeye was cooked to perfection, they really know how to cook a steak. We have had several of their menu items and have loved everything we’ve ordered. The restaurant is split into two sides by a wrap around bar in the middle which boasts some very nice top shelf liquors, amazing tequilas, 16 taps and many bottled beers. One side of the restaurant is more cozy and upscale for nice romantic dinner but has large enough tables for groups and families, the other side is more of a pub type atmosphere with several large screen televisions and is one of the best places in town to watch sports. Absolutely love this place and will be going often, definitely worth a try.

Tonight we had a delicious dinner at The Standard Pub . Jovita had the Prime Rib Dip and I had The Prime Cheeseburger. We were happy with our choices. For our beverages, I had a Blood Orange Hefeweizen, a Pomegranate Hard Cider, and iced water. Jovita had a Lala Paloma and iced water. The service was great and we will be back.
