“It was okay, I took my bestie for her birthday she wanted pizza. My biggest complaint is that we got an all meat pizza and the whole top half of it was cheese, meat only around the bottom. Add an order of great chicken wings and cheesy bread and it was almost $60. Next time I will be taking her out for steak at that price.”

“At first, I thought this was a takeout place with some tables if you wanted to eat there. To my surprise, it's a full service restaurant. A good one, too. The menu is not extensive but rather hits all the highlights of what you'd expect to see in a Mexican restaurant. I had a plate full of truck-style tacos and my daughter had the carnitas plate. Both were good and the portions generous. This was our first time here but it will definitely become one of our regular places to eat. Service was excellent and prices are on the lower side of moderate. I definitely recommend this place.”

“Very impressed with the staff here. They were incredibly friendly and helpful with everything. My husband has a gluten allergy, and they were very helpful (and knowledgeable) with what menu items were okay for him. Eating out has been a struggle since we discovered his allergy because a lot of places have no idea, or absolutely everything secretly has gluten in it, but La Morenita made it easy, and he was able to eat something delicious instead of having to settle. The food was delicious, and the bathrooms clean (and there was a changing table, BONUS). Would definitely recommend.”

My server said they had other orders they were working on. Even so, it shouldn't take 30 minutes to cook a hamburger. Overall, food is good as long as you dont mind the wait.”

The flavor on some dishes such as the Mahi tacos is pretty lacking but others such as most of the appetizers are pretty good overall. Definitely not a restaurant to go to if you're trying to cut calories though. If you live in the Central Valley you really should go here though.”
