Pete's Restaurant and Brewhouse

The wait time was longer than I would expect at similar establishments, and I was there during a slow time judging by the limited amount of other patrons. While the wait staff cannot help the food come out faster, the appearance of them standing around talking does not help ease the wait. During the wait dishes were dropped on the floor and broken in the kitchen within my view on two separate occasions. The food, when it did arrive, was better than any similar competition I can think of in Yuba City.

Edit* in a follow up visit to this location I was given the lunch version of an item, while ordering I had pointed to what I wanted on the dinner menu. The manager on duty didn't seem to understand customer service, a simple apology can go a long way. Instead I was told that it was my fault for not clarifying my order better with the waitress.

We were not interested in placing the order right away, so our server set us up with our drinks and gave us time to visit. She was funny and just the right amount of friendly. Once we placed our order, the food came to us quickly, was very well presented and was quite tasty. I had enough to bring a little home! Yes, I will be returning to Pete's again.

Service staff was amazing and the food was to die for. First time eating here after moving to the area. We had a bad experience with red robin last night. And tonight Deni and the hostess were beyond the top amazing. Table of 5 I asked if we could move due to my son was uncomfortable with a boy at the next table and without hassle we were able to move and have Deni serve us still. We will be back for sure

First time here! We sat in the bar area and ordered drinks to start. Our server recommended the pizza dough knots and let us know it was happy hour and we'd get a few bucks off our drinks and the appetizer. We got a pizza that they split two flavors on for no extra charge. Our waiter was on top of his game the whole time with excellent service and timely table check-ins. Will be back again to try more of the menu!

Great food, good service.
To clarify my comments a bit more, our table service was fabulous. The young lady who seated us did not at all seem interested in doing her job. She first attempted to seat us in the bar area with the high chairs. My wife cannot sit in those; she is disabled. We asked to be moved to the dining area and she looked put out to do it.
A little smile and a friendly welcome go a long ways.
Other than that, the service was great.
