You are greeted at the door with a smile and told to take a seat wherever you like. The meals speak for themselves. True small town American cooking and it tastes as good as it seems. I would highly recommend anyone stopping by the area to come in and have a meal at this gem tucked away in Northern California.”

“Exactly what I was looking for! It's a quiet, clean and comfortable cabin. There is no cell service or wifi which was nice to unplug for the week. We stayed in cabin 10 with 3 adults and 2 kids in June 2022, there was plenty of room and the king sized memory foam mattresses were amazing after a long day of hiking around Lassen. The only thing to keep in mind is electric vehicle charging, they allowed me to plug into the cabin but the charge rate was 3mi per hour. The closest Tesla supercharger is an hour away. There is a faster charger at Highlands Ranch campground that charged 26mi per hour but they took a flat fee of 25 dollars per day which is steep if you can't leave your car there. We only had the one vehicle. Either way for the price and comfort I would still return to Mill Creek. We had a fantastic trip.”

“This is a wonderful, spacious lodge with a mix of both modern and rustic interiors. We have been coming here since it opened and are loyal fans.The food is good and atmosphere excellent. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming. Weekends usually include live music and the extensive bar is beautiful. The Dixie Fire has left some mountains on the opposite side of highway 36 somewhat damaged but the forest views from the lodge location, restaurant and cabin locations are all preserved, green and beautiful. Dont let the previous fire be a reason to stay away. Highlands Resort charm remains intact. When we ate there the end of April 2022 the place was busy and the restaurant had many occupied tables of happy customers.”

“Passing through town and looked up "food near me" and well, of course I had to stop here being that I love food trucks and my name is also Melissa. The gal who greeted me was very friendly, warm, and welcoming, and pointed out their vegetarian options and meat options-which there are a lot of both! I ordered a chicken taco and 2 veggie tacos, extra cheese because I love cheese, and the hot salsa. May be the BEST tacos I've ever had. I eat a LOT of tacos. They were DELICIOUS!! Very filling. The presentation of it was mouth watering! 3 overloaded tacos with plenty of lime and radish on one side of the plate and a huge jalapeno on the other. I definitely recommend this place and will be coming back the next time I pass through Red Bluff!”

“Do not sleep on this place! Everything was simple, straightforward but cooked perfectly with perfect seasoning. We had the green goddess salad (the dressing is out of this world) and the ribeye. Not only was the steak flavorful and cooked exactly how we ordered, but the potatoes were crisp perfection, soft inside and topped with a garlic butter. The asparagus was tender crisp and not overdone. I was really amazed with the price point too. Such a value for the level of skill put into the meal. The wine list also had some great choices. Check this place out!”

We parked our 37 ft trailer on the street and it was very sketchy. The food is great though!! Just the layout is a little weird, but 4 stars! Baristas were great!!”

“On a hot sunny day in near Corning California this summer my car broke down. For one day I had been stranded in Corning while my car was being worked on. In need of caffeine and a warm breakfast, I walked to the nearest Starbucks. I was warmly greeting by Maria and the rest of the team. Despite grim circumstance the past 24 hours, Marias smile and energy was the perfect pick me up. I usually don’t write online reviews but my service experience was too fantastic to go unnoticed. Yes, drive through takes a little bit of time, but it is Chinese food, not a burger under a light that just has to be thrown in a bag! Can't wait to try the sushi bowls, sound delicious!”
