McNally's Burger Stand

Good service and food, but a little too pricey.

We've came here a few times and the food is pretty good. Have to admit though that I like to come out here for the drive and the views! It's a great drive and if you're an outdoors kinda person, you'll really like it out here! You can fish, camp do the trails and obviously eat!! There's a convenience store and I believe a small hotel/inn so it's a great setup! No food shots bcus the views were too pretty to resist:)

For a place on the frontier, it was better than expected. Prices are fair too.

Nice place to catch lunch or a snack. I only had a burger and fries, which were very good, but I can't comment on the other menu items. Four stars instead of five because of the actual dining experience, meaning the part when I sat down at a table to eat. You sit at tables outside (I love this, to be honest), but the wind was strong the day I was there, and it blew up dust from the unpaved parking area and yard, some of which landed in my fries. It's kinda common in this area because it's dry and dusty everywhere. BUT, McNally's could screen in the picnic tables and cut down on the problem. Don't let the wind or dust stop you, though; just be prepared for it and have the flexibility to move or get your food to go. If you take your food to go, PLEASE take care of your trash! I'm local and hate seeing trash in or along the river. Ruins things for everyone. When you're at McNally's they make it easy to dispose of trash properly, so please do! 😎

This is a really good and juicy burger. I wanted to give a full 5 star, however, for 7 bucks, there were a few things that kept me from doing that. The meat patty was quite thin, the meat patty needs to be thicker or default to a double patty. I ordered the standard burger, with cheese and no onion. The person taking my order repeated my order as did the server. But I still had onions. The burgers comes with lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion and a special, mayonnaise based sauce. The wait for the burger was quite long, first to take your order then again to get your order. All in all we were there for about an hour and 20 minutes for 2 burgers and 2 pepsi's for 22 bucks total. And we were only eating for about 15 minutes. It was not supper busy for my stop. Maybe 3 orders ahead of me. The day before we drove by and noticed the line was much longer, maybe 10 orders long. Can't imagine that wait. Again, it was a very tasty and juicy burger, just need more of it, for the 7 buck charge. And the service could have been better.
