“This place is a little slice heaven in Sequoia National Monument. We stayed here for two nights and everything was perfect: the room, the food, the service, and especially the people. You will meet an incredible diversity of people here, all of whom are kind, generous, and just down right fun to talk to. We were able to experience a unique and local experience exploring the surrounding forests and creeks all thanks to the very informative natives, making it a highlight in what was a ten day road trip across the country. We cannot wait to come back!”

“Kind staff, excellent food and a magnificent little town.. if you find yourself in camp Nelson, it’s a must stop, and probably the only restaurant in town! My waitress was fun, bubbly and the best tour guide one could ask for. She gave me the low down on all the local spots to check out.. my breakfast was amazing! Especially after a night in a tent!”

“Beautiful Hotel/Restaurant in a cozy, intimate, lodge-like setting. We had the Fish Tacos, Black Beans, and Garlic Fries. Their burgers also looked delicious. All were good, but the Garlic Fries were outstanding. Friendly, attentive, service makes this place a must stop when visiting Springville.”

“Real pure beef burgers. + +. Quaint small town cafe with big portions of quality food and service. Revisited May 30, 2019: My third visit. Burgers are consistently high quality beef, cooked to perfection. Today I had banana cream pie. Wow! Superb. I'm not one to use superlatives, but wow the pie was a 10. They make their own pies here. // July 2019: again, best quality hamburger. But carrot cake was very stale.”

“Probably the BEST salsa and chips I've had in the central valley, also - the adovada and chicken tacos left me speechless. Yes, they're THAT good! Suzie, the waitress who served me was attentive, always checking to make certain I wasn't in need of anything. I was SO impressed I actually spent about 20 minutes texting, letting friends and associates know just how good this place is. There's NO doubt, I'll go out of my way just to eat here again. Try it. You'll LOVE it!”
