Loved the food. Small unassuming place with wooden benches. They provided complimentary nachos and hot salsa which was oh so good I could not stop eating even though I realized it might affect my meal. Had ordered a veg burrito bowl which they helpfully customized by removing the tortilla and adding veggies. It was just so good. So many veggies and rice and beans and guacamole and sour cream. My partner had ordered chicken fajitas which when it came seemed never ending :-D and I was surprised he managed to finish it all off. Must have been real good.
Very good food. Tried chicken with Chipotle and garlic chilly ( also known as #36) . It was the best Mexican dish I ever had. ( May be also because it was very close to spicy chicken curry )
Lots of delicious dishes on offer and as with all Mexican plenty of great vegetarian options to choose from. The burritos were especially good. Nice selection of beer and wines to accompany your meal too. Really cosy setting. Staff were attentive and pleasant. Went a couple of times it was that good.
Great stop after Yosemite National Park. Ordered a combo: Beef tostada and chicken enchilada in red sauce. Beef was tough, but flavor of red sauce was fantastic. Cute, authentic atmosphere with small dining room...perfect for intimate dinners.
The food was good. It's just over an hour away from Yosemite National Park. So while on our way back to home we stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to have some lunch here. When we drove in, it wasn't clear where to park. So we parked in the space right opposite to the restaurant. The side of the restaurant is small, so probably on a busy day the place may get full fast.
We got started with chips and salsa. Mmm the salsa tasted good and HOT. Liked it. Would have loved it if it was a bit more thicker.
Then we ordered fajitas and veggie burrito bowl. The fajitas came in a sizzling hot plate and it tasted great with the rice, beans, sour cream and guacamole that came together.
