Hotel Charlotte

We stumbled upon this hidden gem of a tavern while waiting for our takeout food next door. The staff and ambience of the place was fantastic! Our bartender (and owner), Finn was an excellent host and was knowledgeable about the nuances of triple distilled whiskey :) For a desserts connoisseur, their menu will not disappoint.

Booked that hotel without any expectations just after visiting Yosemite Park.
Was a great experience. Staff were the nicest of our trip in California and this venue is really charming.

There is a common coffee place for all rooms. We did not know this and bought coffee.

I had the pleasure of staying here for a couple weeks following a wildfire where the owners put me up. This hotel and town is filled with so much history! Sipping coffee above the street in the middle of town on the front balcony is the best. Hotel has the best restaurant in town. Across the street is one of the oldest bars in California. Yosemite is nearby. In the rooms are comfortable beds, TVs, fast WiFi, clean and classic bathrooms with tubs great for baths. This place is truly a memorable 5star stay!!

Very polite staff. You can tell they care. The hotel itself is very clean, and there are a few local bites within walking distance. We used this as a spot to crash between Yosemite Park visits. The spot is choice. The bath tubs definitely are slippery though.
