Marie Callender's

There were two of us and we tried the blackbean soup and the chicken and broccoli skillet. I don't like really "hot" food and the poblano cheese sauce on the latter was somewhat mild with just the right amount of spicy kick for me. Overall, the food was very good and the service was exceptional. Our server was attentive and cheerful. She responded to every request promptly and with a smile. For dessert, I chose the German Chocolate pie and was sorry. Not because the pie wasn't good, but because I ate every bite of it and left the restaurant feeling far too full.

I don't know why Marie Callender's closed Victoria Boulevard in Ventura. But I'm a not a happy camper. I'm sure it had something to do with money but many of us are not satisfied with that. Marie Callender's is a good restaurant family atmosphere that my family enjoys going to now we have to go out of our area. We will still go because the food, atmosphere and employees are great

Who does not like a pie from there? But their lunch options is nothing special . We love this place for desert but I have only been once or twice for lunch. Good thing not waiting. I like it better when it is apie special 7.99 month. The best pies are usually a little more expensive

Great family restaurant. Staff are friendly. Service was very good. The Sunday buffet was very good with several tasty options. The price was reasonable.
It did start to get busy after 10am, but for a good reason.
