Ojai Cafe Emporium

Great California eggs, fruit and scones. Hi by had bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. Looked fantastic. He didn't offer me a bite. Going to try to make the eggs for mother's day.

This place is average from my 2 experiences. The staff I've met are very friendly and welcoming, menu is easy to navigate and food is good. I ordered the California egg dish with fruit and wheat toast. The fruit was a little old honestly very soft, mushy and definitely not fresh, the toast was really dry almost like a crouton. The main dish was cooked just fine and very good. My partner ordered a omelette I forget which once but said it had no flavour.

Overall my experience was alright at best this place from my previous visit and now isn't something you MUST have. Prices aren't bad. Food is ok. And atmosphere is very boring here.

Hi we stopped here yesterday for lunch. My friend ordered a shrimp salad and the dressing was simply delicious! I had a couple of the soup of the day which was tomato and my salad that came with it had very very fresh greens. I should’ve taken the waitresses advice and gotten the house dressing instead of the ranch. Don’t get me wrong the ranch was a delicious ranch apparently they make all the dressings there. But the dressing on my friends salad was the winner!

I iconic downtown Ojai cafe that has stayed true to it's colors throughout the years! Large portions good pricing and a hometown staff that you will remember from your last visit no matter how long ago it was. Wonderful cafe and restaurant and bakery all-in-one!
