This place has a very comfortable 50s-themed atmosphere and the employees have always been very kind. The BEST thing about Millie's though is their excellent food AND prices!! I can't believe how well priced their menu is; and there are so many options. I've been there multiple times and have never had a bad meal. They also have the best milkshakes I think I've ever had. I try to go here as much as I can. I truly believe it's the best restaurant in Simi Valley. No joke.
Great Cobb Salad! I had it with ranch on the side. It had real bacon pieces, real pieces of fresh avocado, and fresh everything else! Amazing price too. This was my first time there, but I'll go back.
An outstanding food. Slightly in expensive little local place. Very enjoyable food especial the mushroom veggie omelette. I believe it is so close to the ones at Eggs and Things. I would definitely recommend or even continue to come back as I have been more than twice. Thanks to Deacon Bob's recommendations.
The meat loaf was a huge portion and very tender. I also enjoyed the salad, mashed potatoes and gravy. The 1950's theme of the decor was very cute and fun. The menu is packed with all kinds of comfort food at low prices. You can order breakfast all day. I recently tried the chicken pot pie which was a generous portion and very good too!
I am extremely happy I opted to get a to-go order as when I arrived at Millie’s there were a few groups of people standing outside. The restaurant is super small with a very small kitchen right by the door. The owner greets you and I quickly told him I was picking up a to-go order. He offered me a sit at the counter and I paid. I happen to be sitting at the place where ready plates were placed until they were served. The dishes kept piling up and after a little prodding they packed up my food to-go. I got the BLT with avocado and cheese and it came with potatoes. The potatoes were not to my taste as they were a tad spicy and mixed with green peppers. My BLT was great. Nicely toasted bread with ample tomato and lettuce. The bacon was a tad limp but tasty and the avocado slices were fresh. It was a good sandwich and very filling.
