I couldn't believe how fresh my soup of the day and my husband's Ceasar salad both tasted! And the warm crusty bread? Yum! Loved the tasteful service. The price for the food is amazing and you always know what's going on your sandwich because they make it for you as you tell them what to put on it. The variety of ingredients is superb, therefore the combinations of sandwiches that you can make is endless. The workers are very nice and make the sandwiches in a timely order, and so you're never waiting to eat your food for a long time. Great place. Also has a bathroom.”

“I love the Hat ! It is such a classic gem. I remember my parents would take us here and the memories of mountains of french fries, pastrami, and gravy. At this more recent visit the food was amazing and the staff was cheerful and the service was great. The Orange Bang machine was out, so I let the manager know after already grabbing another drink. He instantly went to change the machine in the back and came back to let me know it was working again and he packed up my fries to go ! Amazing. This classic is a must when in Simi Valley.”

Chicken meat is served many ways, sauce packets are offered for sandwiches and salads. Eating areas are kept clean by floating staff with dust pan and broom. Play area for younger children nicely designed and seems to keep them HAPPY and Busy, to a parents delight. Very family and MATURE folks oriented. I requested hot coffee at 4:15 and a fresh pot was brewed and my Hot coffee was Happily burning my lips in less than 5 minutes. If chicken is your lunch/dinner, you're at the right place with quite reasonable prices.”
